Solid Surf Camp Resort Mentawai makes one of the best, most raw and beautiful surf locations in the world affordable.
We are located in Tua Pejat in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia, and this is one of the most pristine beautiful and exclusive
areas in the whole world. Calculate YOUR day price by dividing our week price by 7 and multiplying it by the amount of days you want to stay. Arrive on any day you like with a min. of 5 days and max. of 21 days.

HOW TO GET HERE
We are located in the Mentawai a group of three islands in front of the Indonesia province Sumatera.
To get here requires a little more organisation than to fly into Bali, and so we look at this location as a destination on its own.
With that being said it is not very complicated to get here as it is it is three steps only.
To simplify your journey to the Mentawai we will give you a easy break down first, before getting into more details and schedules.
We will start with the first city of arrival within Indonesia: Jakarta or Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur. As this is the hub how to get to Pandang and the Mentawais.
Your trip will look like this:
Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur— (flight) –> Padang City (Sumatera) — (fast ferry) –> Tua Pejat / Mentawais
Once arrived in Tua Pejat we will pick you up from the harbour and bring you to our surf house, which is nearby.

Jakarta / Kuala Lumpur (KL): Jakarta/ Kuala Lumpur is the main hub to reach Padang. Internationally or domestic this is the transit airport to get to Padang. From Jakarta / Kuala Lumpur you can take any possible flight to Pandag City in Sumatera. This is a 2.5 Hr flight and can easily be booked for very fair prices. Fly from Jakarta with Garuda, Citylink, Batik Air or Lion Air or from Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia.
Padang City: In Padang City you will need to spend one night here so you can take the fast ferry in the early morning. As the flights will not match the departure time of the Fast Ferry. The best days to fly into Padang are: Sunday – Tuesday – Thursday – Saturday because the fast ferry will depart the next morning early.
Padang –> Tua Pejat – Mentawais (Fast Ferry): The Fast ferry is departing from Padang to Tua Pejat every Monday – Wednesday – Friday and Sunday.

- Friday at 7:00 am in the morning
- Sunday at 10:00 am in the morning
Tua Pejat – Mentawais — >Padang (Fast Ferry): the fast ferry departs from the Mentawais to Padang every:
- Monday at 3:00 pm afternoon
- Wednesday at 3:00 pm afternoon
- Friday at 3:00 pm afternoon
- Sunday at 3:00 pm and afternoon.
The fast ferry takes about 3 hours to get to the Mentawai.
